Drawing from his experience with the hit film Pathaan, Anand explained the dangers of chasing numbers and formulas. "When you start second-guessing the audience, you lose your artistic integrity. We never set out to achieve the numbers Pathaan did; it was about the magic of storytelling," he shared.
Anand emphasized that King is a fresh start, a new challenge. "We're approaching King with the mindset of a debut filmmaker. We want to pass the audience's test again and prove ourselves. We're aware of the expectations, but we won't be influenced by them," he said.
