During the recent Kawempe South Parliamentary Debate, hosted by NBS Television, Kyagulanyi expressed his gratitude for the platform, which allowed candidates to openly share their visions. "I believe that, among all of us, I am the youngest, with the strength and tenacity to take Kawempe forward,” he stated.
Kyagulanyi is championing the need for new leadership. He believes Kawempe South needs leaders who truly understand the challenges faced by the youth, informal workers, and families grappling with unemployment, inadequate infrastructure, and limited access to essential services. But here's where it gets controversial... He's not just talking; he's emphasizing a commitment to community engagement, accountability, and practical, tailored solutions.
Kyagulanyi's path to victory won't be easy. He's up against a diverse field of candidates, including Nansubuga Fatima (Democratic Front), Faisal Ddamulira (Forum for Democratic Change), Fred Nyanzi Ssentamu (National Unity Platform), Ssekungu Hassan (People’s Front for Freedom), Madina Ntale Nsereko (National Resistance Movement), and Dafala Ssekanjako (Common Man’s Party), as well as independent candidates Muhammed Ssenyonga, Roy Ssemboga, and Umar Nsubuga.
